It’s nearly here. So many people are excited about the much anticipated release of MW3. By the looks of the buzz it is creating then it is sure to match up to the high standards of the previous versions.

One of Infinity Ward’d leading employee’s Robert Bowling who is their creative strategist has confirmed on Twitter when the official call of duty modern warfare 3 trailer will first air tonight on the NBA Western Conference Finals at 6pm Pacific Time, which is 2am UK time.
This is a much awaited trailer so be sure that we will link to it as soon as it’s available!

Call of Duty Modern Warfare / Space Warfare / Future Warfare
There have been rumours in the gaming industry that the next Call of Duty Modern Warfare game may very well be set in space!
The reason for the rumours is because Glen Schofield (Boss of Sledgehammer), who have reportedly been drafted in to work on the games Single Player Campaign mode, was quoted in an interview to say that the game would be “quite unique” and “bring something new and exciting to our fans”!
This is also backed up as Activision have registered a number of domains around futuer warfare and space warfare.
We’re not sure how the Call of Duty gamers will take this as they love the map settings of real terrain and the realistic guns. Will the space soldiers have ray and laser guns to fight off the aliens?
I guess we’ll have to watch this space to see what happens but what do you think about this.
Space setting – good or bad idea?
It has been reported in the LA Times that Activision may enlist the help of Sledgehammer Games to help out Infinity Ward on the Single Player Campaign part of the highly anticipated Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 game.
The paper has also reported that Raven Software could have the huge responsibility of creating the games online multi-player offering!
The current expected release date of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is November 2011 so if Infinity Ward is going to hit this deadline then it’s no wonder that they are enlisting the help of Raven and Sledgehammer.
