Call of Duty Modern Warfare / Space Warfare / Future Warfare
There have been rumours in the gaming industry that the next Call of Duty Modern Warfare game may very well be set in space!
The reason for the rumours is because Glen Schofield (Boss of Sledgehammer), who have reportedly been drafted in to work on the games Single Player Campaign mode, was quoted in an interview to say that the game would be “quite unique” and “bring something new and exciting to our fans”!
This is also backed up as Activision have registered a number of domains around futuer warfare and space warfare.
We’re not sure how the Call of Duty gamers will take this as they love the map settings of real terrain and the realistic guns. Will the space soldiers have ray and laser guns to fight off the aliens?
I guess we’ll have to watch this space to see what happens but what do you think about this.
Space setting – good or bad idea?
Wow…..what a bad idea. Man I want them to go back and make a CoD about the Civil War or the Revolutionary War. Not the future. I really hope the developers see some of these comments and wise up a bit.
This would be a horrible idea. COD is known for it’s real life story and feel. there is no need to put any fictional twist to call of duty. That’s the reason why there’s games like dead space and duke nukem. Please keep it straight, I would hate to know that they would totally change the face of COD.
in my opinion it could be a cool game to play as a story line. and no doubt a space zombie map would be cool however i dont forsee the multiplayer being all that popular. just based on how much i haave loved the other cod games i would play it and if the mulitiplayer isnt good still have blackops which all my friends didnt like at first and wanted to go back to mw2 but now love black ops
The space idea is not a good idea people will not enjoy shooting aliens and other weird stuff with laser guns. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 should be like all the other Call of Duty games real life guns and people. Call of Duty games were not created to go space.
horrible idea
Im a huge call of duty soldier i own and dominated every title but if they make the jump to space they will have to fight that war alone. we want to blast nazis russians cubans vietnamese and last but not least the fucking insurgents so give us what we want. if i wanted to shoot aliens i would go buy deadspace 2.
